cBus Mom offers suggestions and reviews of kid-friendly activities in Central Ohio. We are Columbus, Ohio moms who like to get out and explore with the shorter and cuter versions of ourselves. Knowing what to expect ahead of time helps with planning, and hopefully our experiences and suggestions will help you too!
My home is in an awesome Columbus suburb filled with the laughter of two small children, a delightfully sarcastic husband, and two barky mini-schnauzers. My daughter thinks she is the princess who reigns over the neighborhood, and my son is a little gladiator who either protects our castle or starts fights with neighboring villages…or at least his sister. I prefer to think of myself as the Queen of the house and have been so coined by my daughter, but am probably more similar to the court jester or nurse maid. Gotta love motherhood!
Hats off to one of the fab contributing mom writers to cbusmom.com. About Kelly: I am the quarterback of the Braun household. My team consists of 3 children, 1 husband and 2 dogs. I have 2 beautifully talented daughters who amaze me everyday. Taylor is 8 and Samantha is 5. Sisterhood is such a love/hate relationship at this age. But watching them create a bond that I know will last a lifetime is fascinating. We welcomed our son, Justin, last year and it’s amazing to see life through the eyes of a little boy. His nickname is “King Kong” as he throws everything in his path and loves to destroy things. My husband and I met while at Ohio State and our love for the Buckeyes continues. We have a lot of fun in this family and we keep it real. I hope you’ll enjoy our view on parenting and life as a family of 5.
