Luke the Juggler

Luke the Juggler

My son recently turned five, and I wanted to do something special for his birthday. He said he wanted to invite his preschool friends and some other people he frequently plays with, so I had the guest list. He said he wanted a “Thomas” birthday, so I had the theme (thank you Pinterest for some fun ideas). He said he wanted to do cupcakes with blue icing and squinkies (take homes for the kiddies), so I got a cardboard cupcake stand and made some rich and delicious cupcakes. He said he wanted balloons, so I had the entertainment – which was awesome and made the party a blast.

Luke the Juggler had performed at a birthday my daughter attended, and she said he was hysterical and came home with the cutest little balloon dog and bear. She mentioned Luke did magic, told silly jokes, and twisted balloons for every kid. I spoke with my friend about him, and she has used him for years because he is great with the kiddies. I had to give him a ring to see if he was available, and he was!

Luke was easy to work with – from pre-planning to the day of the party. I emailed him the dates I was thinking about hosting the party about three weeks in advance and asked his rates. He shot me an email back full of information and pricing for two different kinds of parties. We chose the hour party with magic tricks, juggling, and balloons for each child to take home. His show was interactive and he made the birthday boy feel very special. Plus, I’ve never seen a group of children laugh so much! Luke was funny, yes, but the kids got me laughing at at them laughing – it was so fun! He provided a professional kids’ show, and we didn’t even need to leave our home.

His rates are subject to change, but for $165 we got an hour interactive show (that seriously kept children ranging in ages 2 – 7 entertained and giggling), balloons for each child, and a huge “Thomas” balloon carriage for the birthday boy. Luke was professional every step of the way (he’s been doing this for 11 years and knows the biz – you may have seen his ad in Columbus Parent) – from timely email responses with information to calling me the day of the party to reiterate time and that he was looking forward to the party. What a nice guy.

Luke the Juggler came to our home party, but if you are having a party outside of your home I’m certain he will work with you. If you want to check him out, he does balloons at El Vaquero locations during the week:

6:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Wednesday: El Vaquero 3580 W. Dublin-Granville Road (161 & Sawmill)
Saturday: El Vaquero 9130 Dublin Road off Glick Road (Shawnee Hills)
Sunday: El Vaquero 3230 Olentangy River Road (near Kohl’s/down from Riverside Hospital)

Interested in more information, check out Luke the Juggler’s website: http://www.lukethejuggler.com/ or visit him for balloons and dinner one night to see him in person. He’s super high energy and very silly…the stuff kids love.

  1. Luke is great! Our son’s played soccer together years ago and Luke hosted the end of the season party. He had the kids entertained with juggling, balloons, jokes and some great magic tricks. He has also performed at school functions at our elementary school, he’s great with kids and is very easy to work with. Give him a call!
