My daughter turned 15, during Covid, wanting to be with friends, and a slumber party was out of my comfort zone. We came up with the perfect idea for my artsy daughter to celebrate her birthday – painting! I was so excited to find Brush Crazy off of Bethel Road where she could gather with friends safely, hang out, and create a take-home piece of art to commemorate their time together.
The owners were so accommodating and kind. It was so easy to book the party and plan it out. We had six kids all together and I wanted to bring a cake and ice cream. They had a table reserved and set up when we got there. I was able to set a price point for the pottery pieces for the kids so they could choose what they wanted to paint. Once they chose, they took the kids back to pick out paint – you can either use acrylics and take the piece home that day, or make it food safe and glaze it. It takes a few days to fire it and set it, so you will have to cone back for it…but, glazing it makes it so shiny and pretty.
This was a great option for a teen party, and would be a great friend afternoon or date night out.
