BalletMet’s The Nutcracker: A Family Tradition

BalletMet’s The Nutcracker: A Family Tradition

I love the holidays, and one of my favorite things to do during the holidays is get cozy in a theater seat. BalletMet’s The Nutcracker is one of the productions on my list this year…well, almost every year! The music, the dancing, the holiday spirit – what’s not to love?

On BalletMet’s facebook page is a teaser of the dancers this year. The pictures showcase some of the amazing talent you’ll see on stage this December. I chose a couple of shots to share here.

If you plan to go, please remember:

-Allow time to find parking. Be sure to look online for information. Also, DO NOT pay someone who comes up to you in the lot to collect money for parking UNLESS they are in uniform. There are people who’ll wait in the lot and act like they work there. Outside lots do not necessarily have attendants.

-Eat beforehand. They have snacks and such during the performance, but they are pricey and lines are long.

-Try to get your littles to go to the bathroom before the show, especially if you are sitting on the inside of a row.
